Betrayal Character Interview – Amanda

Betrayal

Betrayal by Stacy ClaflinToday I am going to interview Amanda, the best friend of the main character, Alexis. This is the third day of the Betrayal Tour which goes on all week! On Monday, I hosted an interview with Alexis Ferguson, the main character in the series and yesterday I shared a fun excerpt.

I’m giving away Deception for FREE this entire week on Kindle through Friday (3/22)! It’s the book that comes before Betrayal, so if you haven’t read it already, be sure to grab it – and read it!

Be sure to tell your friends about it too so they can grab it too. You can tweet about it now!

There are also other fantastic posts by other bloggers sharing reviews, author interviews, and more! Don’t miss a single post: Official Tour Schedule.

On to the interview…

Hi Amanda. Thank you for joining us.

Thanks for having me.

How long have you been friends with Alexis?

We’ve been friends for years, it feels like we’ve always been friends. For the longest time Emma, Alexis and I were nearly inseparable. But now Emma isn’t our friend. I was completely heartbroken about losing her as a friend at first, but seeing how much she’s changed I don’t like the new her. It looked like she was having a change of heart after Alexis was abducted, but she didn’t.

It sounds like things might get interesting with Emma. How is your friendship with Alexis going?

It was a little bit rocky for a while. I’ve been an emotional wreck with everything going on in my life lately. Alexis didn’t give up on me, she was being a true friend even when I tried to push her away. I felt like everything in life was hopeless and I didn’t want to hear her saying that it could be better.

Have you noticed anything strange about her?

Strange? You mean aside from her going from going from socially clueless and invisible to being the most popular girl in school overnight? It’s hard to separate any other changes from that. Everything in her life has totally changed over the last few months too. Although now that you mention it, sometimes it’s as if she can read my mind. But that’s crazy, right?

Oh there was that odd request she had for me right before her going away party before she went to be a foreign exchange student. That was one rocking party, by the way.

What odd request was that?

She wanted me to tell Tanner that she’d been eaten by wolves. That was definitely weird, but she wouldn’t say what that was all about. I hope she decides to tell me, because Tanner really freaked out when I told him that.

Wow, it really sounds like we’re in for an adventure in Betrayal.

That’s putting it mildly. Alexis actually manages to help me deal with everything that’s going on in my life. In a way that I never would have dreamed of too! That’s definitely a wild ride for me – and what a surprise!

That sounds exciting! I can’t wait to find out what that’s all about! Thanks for joining us today,  Amanda.

Thanks to you too!
