Today I finished my second novel of the month and worked on the third. Up to a grand total of 138,498 for the month after writing 7,096 today.
I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am about there being two days left! Like I shared with my Camp NaNoWriMo cabin: there’s not only light at the end of the tunnel, but it’s lighting up the path!
It’s been quite challenging working on this goal of 150k. Most days writing between 6-7k, and a few days getting more or less (and 3k on Sundays, taking Saturdays off).
Yesterday, I even questioned whether or not I even liked writing anymore. (I do, don’t worry!) But my limits have really been put to the test and I’m really excited to have a three day weekend this weekend and then write 3-4k words five or six days a week.
I’m thinking about a weekly goal of 20k, and if I hit it, I get to take Sundays off, too. I’m also going to start sleeping in until 4:30 instead of 4:00. Today I moved my alarm up to 4:02. Every bit helps!
Anyway…TWO MORE DAYS!!!
