Bootstrapping for Indies is a wonderful resource for new and aspiring authors. It’s brought to you by Simon Whistler from the Rocking Self Publishing Podcast.

The answers: Yes. You can. Less than you think.

This book will help you get a high quality first book out the door for far less than you thought.

My Review: 5 Stars

Wonderful resource for new and upcoming indies. I’ve used a large number of the tips that Simon recommends in the process of going from an aspiring author to writing full time, having replaced my income. They work, and I know this from experience.

You don’t have to be rich or even a lot of money to publish a novel. Simon shares the secrets of how to get your book ready for publication with little or no money. The nice thing is that these tips work, and as you make more money little by little, you’ll be able to afford the things you want. As an indie, you can always go back and improve your books. Get a new cover, re-edit, write a new product description, new forms of marketing.

If you’re not sure where to start as an indie author, I would suggest picking up this gem. In fact, I’m going to recommend this book to others when they ask me how to do it.
