You’ve heard it said that truth is stranger than fiction. It’s so true, and that’s one reason that I love the combination of history and fantasy. As both a reader and writer, I love stories that involve an element of both.
What a thrill it is to have an exciting, out-of-this-world story along with some truths from the past to learn about. In many cases, paranormal romances have brought to life an interest in a period of history I had never given a second though to.
