Rivalries make for interesting stories.
In the world of the Transformed, there are many different types of rivalries….
Siblings
Vampire vs. Werewolves
Nokken vs. Vampires
Common vampires vs. Royal vampires
Love triangles (which can get tricky, even to the point of looking like a hexagon)
Leaders vs. Trusted advisors
Coming soon… Dragons vs. Vampires
The vampires can’t really catch a break, can they?!

I’m telling you, those vampires are getting it from all sides. I think they’ll be OK, though. Probably. Maybe.
They never get a rest. I’m kind of mean author that way! 😉 But it keeps things interesting for the readers!
Rivalry does make for stories that rarely have any dull moments. The one that came to mind when you mentioned vampires and werewolves was the “Underworld” series of movies. I’ve seen all of them and cannot get enough of the Lycan vs. Werewolf push and pull between the two groups. Another rivalry that I also thought of while reading your post was that of the kids in “The Outsiders” starring Patrick Swayze, based on the book of the same name.
Great topic for today’s Letter R.

I think the vampires love their rep!
And too funny, I thought of The Outsiders too. I think I read that book over a hundred times when I was a kid.
Nothing like a good rivalry to shake things up.
Either the vampires have very confrontational natures or they’ve been screwed over by the universe 🙂

P.S. Sorry for being days late, am running behind and trying to play catch up.
