Review: A Stairway to Danger by Ben Woodard

A Stairway to Danger is an exciting adventure story of two teenage boys in the 1920’s. Tom is an orphan who’s living with his aunt, uncle and cousin, Will. Tom and Will stumble upon some mysteries along the river and they refuse to listen to the adults who tell them to leave it alone.

What they end up discovering is far bigger and much more dangerous than they ever imagined. Risking their lives several times, they find themselves face to face with gangsters who want them dead.

The story is told well and the action is exciting, I read it very quickly. This is a story that will be enjoyed by anyone who likes a good mystery. You’ll be wondering how it will turn out until the very end.
