The Sonnast is an important role in the history and legend of the Fyrsturae (the original group of vampires).
She is the long-awaited royal vampire who has more powers than any other, equal only to the Fyrsturae. The Sonnast is recognized by a blueish-gray, swirly-shaped star on her neck. There are images of the mark in scrolls going back three thousand years.
The word itself means “True Love” in Icelandic…although the connection between true love and the one born with the mark was lost when the last of the Fyrsturae was killed.
Although, when the Sonnast discovers what it is…she is not going to be happy. Everyone in her path will have to watch out!

This sounds intriguing and like it may not end well for everyone. I love the name, Sonnast, has a good ring to it.

Hi there – I review fictional works on my blog, so I really appreciate all the hard work authors put into their work. I’m going to follow you on twitter and facebook. Good luck with the rest of the A – Z Challenge. 🙂
Something tells me it’s not going to be a cheerful connection. I could be wrong, of course, but that might make it a little less interesting 😉
You really know your subject well. Good job!
Oh dear, if she’s not going to be happy and she’s that powerful people better duck for cover 🙂 Like the meaning and the connection sounds intriguing.
