In Delphic Cove, vampires chuckle at the myths humans have created about them.
Vampires don’t need permission to enter a building – in fact, they can go right through walls. Unless it’s a solid steel wall, then they’re going to need to go around.
They don’t sleep in coffins or have any aversions to garlic. Some of them really enjoy piling it on their food. Oh wait. You didn’t think vampires avoided our food, did you?
Royal vampires are born, not created. They’re also given a blessing at birth that allows them to walk around in the sun…and they definitely don’t sparkle.
Another twist is that the vampire royalty make it a point to help humans…most of the time, at least. They’re supposed to – it’s in the rule book – but that doesn’t mean they always do.
Vampires love that humans don’t believe in magical creatures, because these days, they’re free to walk around undetected. They’re nothing like people expect, and they also don’t know that vampires are far from the only supernatural creature that they needs to worry about in Delphic Cove.

Humans really don’t pay attention by the sounds of it :). They have a rule book – bet some of them find that tiresome ::g::

I’m a total vamper lover and am intrigued. Just downloaded Fallen to my Kindle and can’t wait to get started reading!
No sparkles 😀
Humans really need to pay attention, or maybe it really is better that they don’t!

Interesting twists.
I like the idea of “Royal” vampires.

Very cool. I may need to investigate these vampires further. My V is vampires, too.
