Review: ForNevermore Season One by Sean Platt and David Wright

ForNevermore is one of Sean Platt and David Wright’s infamous serials. This is the full first season, which contains episodes one through six.

This is their only YA serial to date and hopefully they will continue making more YA novels! We’re introduced to Noella who has had a rough go at life. Both parents are dead and she’s being raised by her aunt and her aunt’s verbally abusive boyfriend.

She is having episodes where she has very realistic hallucinations – or are they hallucinations? She doesn’t want to say anything to anyone for fear of being hospitalized again. They continue, along with nightmares and other difficulties. She won’t be able to feign sanity for long.

I enjoyed this series very much! I’m glad that I had all of the episodes before reading it because I didn’t want to put it down! Although it got off to a bit of a slow start, it was very intriguing and had me guessing what was coming next all the way through. I loved the twists and turns, there were so many things that I didn’t see coming at all!

I can’t wait to read the next season!
