Review: Roxy by PJ Reece

Roxy by PJ Reece

This was a sweet story about a young girl growing up over a summer visit learning about her family. I was immediately drawn in by the first chapter and was very curious to see where the story would go.

Roxy sets off to meet her grandfather just after discovering that she’s pregnant. She knows very little about her family’s history and as she learns about it she grows up herself. She also runs across an unexpected romance which is very different, in a good way, from other romances in novels. I found myself rooting for them.

All of the characters are likable and the scenery is described well. I’m not familiar with that part of the world, but I felt like I was actually there with vivid images in mind.

I was sad to see the story end.
