What’s your story? How did you get into writing?

I always loved writing, but didn’t take it seriously until I started writing about my childhood, which became my memoir “One Boy’s Struggle”. The more I wrote in my journal, the more I began to understand myself and at the same time doing so sparked a love affair within me for writing. I have been writing daily ever since.

What advice do you have for aspiring authors?

Write what you love, and keep writing even if it is just for yourself. We get to share our ideas with the world, but ultimately the greatest pleasure is the writing itself.

What are you working on now?

Right now I am working on the release of my new book “Happy Every Day – Simple, Effective Ways to Better Days”. It’s a simple book about using daily strategies to be happy, which you reviewed, thank you very much.

What has been the most challenging part of publishing or marketing your book?

The most challenging part is getting people interested who normally would not be interested. I just learned a valuable lesson in marketing my latest book. You have to know your audience, but sometimes we want to stretch beyond and reach more people and sometimes when we reach too far we reach people who are not only not interested but don’t like the subject, or the ideas presented and by reaching the wrong readers the results you seek can backfire.

What has been your favorite part?

My favorite part is connecting with the right people, the people who are interested, because that makes it all worthwhile.

Who are your favorite authors?

Stephen King and Anne Rice

What gave you the idea for your current work?

Happy Every Day is a book about life and learning to live in a new way, a way that was so hard for me to find because I constantly fought against it. I didn’t think it was possible. However, once the strategies I learned began to take hold I was astounded at how much better every day became and decided I needed to share them with others who may be looking for what I was looking for, simple ways to be happy every day.

If you could be any character in a book, which one would you be?

Yikes! Harry Potter, of course. No, that’s too easy. The Vampire Lestat would be funner.

What other books have you written and/or are working on for the future?

I’ve written several books concerning life with ADHD. Anyone reading this that has ADHD should visit my website www.adderworld.com or search my name on Amazon.

What’s your favorite quote?

“Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present.” ~Jim Rohn

What’s your favorite supernatural creature?

A vampire of course, isn’t that everyone’s?
