Gessilyn

Gessilyn

Gessilyn isn’t your run of the mill witch. Perky fitness instructor by day, no one in Delphic Cove would ever have reason to believe she has anything to hide.

She leads a quiet life, and those who do know her true nature don’t even know all that much about her. She is Alexis and Clara’s go-to person when they find themselves in trouble.

Have a blessing stripped? Run to Gessilyn. Have a question about some strange, shady characters? Call Gessilyn. Have no idea what’s going on? Gessilyn can probably get to the bottom of it, or at least point you in the right direction.

Nobody knows how old Gessilyn is (witches often cast spells on themselves to slow aging) or what witches she is aligned with – if any.  Even though mystery surrounds her, you’re in luck if you’re her friend. She’ll open her door for you any time of the day or night, and she’ll make you some of her special tea.

Everyone should have a friend like Gessilyn.

She sounds like a very useful person to know. I love the fact she is a perky fitness instructor 🙂

    1. That’s one of the things I love about her too!

  2. Very cool! I like her already. But then again I am partial to witches anyway. 😉
I am going to have to add Fallen to my “To Be Read” list!

    1. There are quite a few witches throughout the series, though no others like Gessilyn. 🙂

      1. Downloaded Fallen to my Kindle. Might have to move it up a bit. 😉

        1. Cool! 🙂 Although I don’t believe Gessilyn makes her appearance in Fallen. Witches are mentioned. But Samantha, a vampire with little regard for humans, does make the read more than worthwhile!

          1. No worries! I have to start at the beginning!

  3. A friend like Gessilyn doesn’t sound half bad. Good friends are hard to find.

    1. Yes, they are. Especially when you have vampires on your tail! 🙂

There’s something wrong with that woman in your photo 😉 I suspect witchcraft.

I love the idea of a perky, fitness-crazed witch. That’s a great character.

    1. Is there any other explanation?? 🙂

  5. I’d like a friend like Gessilyn 🙂

  6. She sounds fabulous! Actually, she sounds like some of the friends I like to write about. Always an open door! Can’t wait to meet her.

    1. You know, Stephanie, I have a feeling you Gessilyn would get along really well! 🙂
