Whether you’re human, vampire, or something else – get out and take chances. Enjoy your life. Try new things. Don’t be afraid of what others think. Make the most of what you’ve got!

Jump on skateboard. Buy that pink coach purse. Wear your “I Love Vampire Novels” shirt when you go out.

Be yourself and be proud about who you are.

This series is about my Transformed world…so, what on earth does this post have to do with that?

For one thing, it was a leap of faith for me to start writing fiction. I hadn’t written fiction in over ten years when I started Deception. I hadn’t even been reading much fiction those days. Some, but I was reading a lot more nonfiction and I ran a successful personal development blog at the time. I’m also active in my church.

What would people think of me writing about vampires? I was a nervous wreck before telling people about my secret undertaking. But I’m glad I did. I love writing -and it makes me happy to know that others enjoy what I write.
